Spending time in prayer and meditation during times of chaos is an invaluable tool for finding the gifts in each moment. Taking a few moments a day to stop, notice your breath, and realize that there is always something positive even when we are overwhelmed with all that is going on around us. The more that we focus on our gratitude the more that it seems that we have to be grateful for. It can be daunting to feel positive when so many things come rushing at us. Gratitude is the antidote. We don't have to feel positive, just grateful.
